Let’s talk about the heaters we spec for the real hard-to-reach places—the ones where you need a lot of heat, fast, but you just don’t have room to spread out. We built this around a heavy-duty halogen tube that runs at high voltage, typically 400V, and cranks out serious wattage—often around 2500W—while staying compact. The 300mm length isn’t random. It’s a sweet spot. Enough radiant surface to cover the area you need, without forcing you to deal with a giant housing. The result? High heat density, and a temperature rise that feels almost immediate. Just plan your cooling ahead of time. This kind of power throws off noticeable ambient heat, and you’ll want your machine ready for it.
Built to take the heat, again and again
Inside, it’s a halogen-filled quartz envelope. That design keeps the filament clean even when things get scorching, which helps the output stay steady and the lifespan stretch out. And the quartz handles thermal shock well, so repeated on/off cycles don’t have you worrying about cracks. For hookup, we use an R7s connector—double-ended, built for industrial current loads. It’s a straight-up, drop-in replacement. You wire it quickly, mount it without hunting for custom hardware, and get on with the job.

These heaters were made for industrial work—PET blowing and other process heating tasks where you need precise, localized heat. The radiant energy focuses right where you need it, heating the target directly instead of dumping energy into the surrounding air.
